How accurate is the food scanner?
CalScan uses state-of-the-art vision AI to identify food and estimate portions. Results are typically within 10–15% of actual values — comparable to manual logging, without the effort.
Does it work with restaurant meals and home cooking?
Yes. The AI handles anything — restaurant dishes, packaged food, home-cooked meals, smoothies, snacks. If you can photograph it, CalScan can analyse it.
Do I need to create an account?
No account required. CalScan works entirely from your device. Your data is private and never shared.
What happens after the free trial?
After your 2-day trial, you'll be billed €24.99/year (or your chosen plan). You can cancel at any time before the trial ends and you won't be charged.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Open CalScan → Profile → Manage Subscription. This takes you to the billing portal where you can cancel, change plan or update payment details.
